WORD FOR WEDNESDAY

I love learning new words. And, it seems like I learn a new word every day. My kids say things I've never heard before and when I look at them with that slap-me-in-the-forehead kind of DUH look, they explain what it means. Here's one, I think is fun:

WORD: Shypod

Take a guess and then come back around 3:00 to see if you were right - or NOT.

An I pod that won't come out of your pocket? Seriously, I've never heard this word--or seen it either.

This one will drive me crazy...I also thought it must have something to do with an I pod.

Is this slang? I've never heard this word! I like Green Girl's answer!
Love your word for wednesday, Kim! I forgot to get a Word A Day calendar this year, now I don't need one! I love learning the new words here each week!

I think it has something to do with not wanting people to know you have an iPod...You are shy of people knowing you have an iPod...

Either that or you are shy to let people know you like pea pods...grin...

Okay, I've never heard this one. Between the Lions is NO help today.

My guess?
Shypod: A wallfower. A person for whom social interaction is terribly hard. So, they walk around with their ipod on all day. LOL!
