Luke's 21st Birthday Party - at Home

Monday was Luke’s 21st birthday. Jake drove down to Eugene after working all day to take his ‘lil brother out for a drink . . . or two. They had a good time but Lars and I missed out on the fun. So Luke and his gfriend, MacKenzie, drove to Portland Saturday morning so we could have a family celebration. We had the family over for lasagna and then ate cake and ice cream and tried to sing Happy Birthday to Luke - you can listen and see for yourself how we fared.

Here’s a short clip and some pictures to share the fun.

Thanks guys. At least the piano sounded good.

Thanks Jessica. I asked my daughter to read it and she didn't think it was so funny. But then she said, "I just pretended I was reading it."

OMGosh -- you all sounded great! You should hear my family sing Happy Birthday. It's absolutely pathetic.

Happy Birthday Luke -- :)

OMG Rena - I thought that was absolutely pathetic. We are all so out of tune, it's like a bunch of banshees wailing into the night.

Everyone must have had a great family time. I’ll be meeting some relatives after a really long time. The occasion in my cousin’s anniversary and we’re attending the party at one of the LA venues. It’s always great to meet up with people after long time and talk about past memories.
