You can reuse leftover wax at the bottom of a candle by simply melting it down, adding some store bought wax and dye for coloring.

A lot of my friends were into candle-making in college. My dad made candles with the kids in his classroom, too. They used paraffin, old crayons for the color, and quart milk cartons (the waxy paper ones) for molds.
This is really exciting.
