I don't know but maybe around 100? Total guess. But I do remember having to read his poems in high school. They were so creepy that i never forgot him while many of the others seemed to fade away!

With all I've been through this week, my brain is in education mode. I don't know how many poems Poe had published, but I'll never forget the first time I heard the Tell-Tale Heart. It was in music class in 4th grade - I was 8 years old!!!! I remember our teacher told us to lay down on the blue carpet. Then she played a recording of it. I was petrified. I didn't sleep for three or four nights without nightmares. And that was in public school!!!! Times sure have changed, haven't they?

I'm guessing 5. I have no real clue, but I did get to visit his house & gravesite in Baltimore and it was a real thrill for me.

I haven't a clue...I think he wrote 60 maybe 70 poems? Were they all published in his life-time?

No idea. Should be interesting to see what the answer is in the end.

I don't know either, but my daughter loves his stuff. Amy mentioned the Tell-Tale Heart. Wow, I haven't thought of that one in a long time.

Poe was one of my favorites growing up - Poe and King.

What does that say about me?...
