Flowers can FLIP Any Frown Upside Down

Sunday was a good day to spend with family.

We went to the Woodenshoe Tulip Festival

We watched some steam engines from 1911 move down the rows.

Then we went downtown and walked around looking at how the city has managed to blend the old with the new.

One day our kids will be looking around and wonder how the old melds in with the new.

How'd you spend your weekend? I hope outside doing something fun.

How beautiful! You are so luck/blessed to live near a place like that.

I spent Saturday at a "market days" selling my crafty wares. I was most pleasantly surprised. Despite the economy people were out and I had a very good day.

Ooh, nice photos! Kind of reminds me when I went to the Dole plantation in Hawaii. But with pineapple instead of tulips! :)

What a great way to spend a weekend! IT poured here and was wicked cold so we were not so blessed.

Beautiful pictures! I've been meaning to visit the flower fields near here.
This weekend I managed to get out in my own garden and tidy up a bit. Wish I had room for tulips...

Beautiful pictures, Kim! It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.

Ours was quiet and spent inside due to everyone being sick with colds.
