UpDos

Thirty years and counting. . .

So we're renewing our wedding vows and it's only a little over a month away...

It's going to be a little celebration and I want to have a special hair style for the occasion. That's why I went to the beauty shop to try out a couple different looks.

The first is supposed to be sort of a middle ages look...no not me, you know, the time of hobbits, elves and --oh wait-- that's middle earth. Maybe she was talking about my age.

Anyway, here's the first option:
Next is an upswept style:

My son said he thinks these are old lady hairstyles. I told him that's okay because I am.

My husband said he doesn't like them.

Here's the view from the back, which my hubby says looks like a bird's nest.

So, now I'm rethinking the entire updo thing...

Hum, I don't know.

I gotta say, I love them both. Though the top one looks like it will stay in better, both are gorgeous.

I think the updos look lovely.

So the question is, do you like them?

Yes, your husband said he prefers your hair down, but what do YOU want?

They look beautiful, but do what you want the most and how you feel the best.
Congrats on your upcoming renewal of your vows. What a special time!!

Hey gals...I'm thinking I'm gonna try a few more looks and see if I can come up with something we all think is "special" in a good way ;D it might take a few tries...but hey, a day at the beauty parlor is nothing to complain about...right?

I think you should ask to try a sleeker look--that first one is kind of fussy looking. But an updo is just the thing for a special occasion!
