Portland Saturday (and Sunday) Market

Saturday Market

Some cities have farmers markets, yeah, we have those too. But we have something extra special every Saturday (and Sunday) down on the waterfront booths roll out filled with artisan handiworks that they are willing to sale for very little money. Plus there are food booths filled with yumilicious goodness for your tasting pleasure. So, if you are in Portland over the weekend, make sure you make your way down to the waterfront to see some of these great arts and crafts and taste some wonderful food.

I bought this necklace for only $4.00.

Wow, now that's certainly a necklace! :)

I have to pay more attention the next time I see these booths lined up along Houston St. here. Maybe I'll get something nice for Lisa.

Yeah the necklace is Murano glass - very pretty.

You should do a blogpost about your street fairs. I love to travel via the net ;)

Hi Kim! I grew up in Bend and went to college in Portland before I moved to Austin 10 years ago. This made me miss Portland... it's so GORGEOUS! I don't miss the rain, though! Anyway, that necklace is GORGEOUS!

Erin: It's sunny and warm today...about 90.

How do you like Austin? I've never been there.
