The Scrap Award - 10 Things

Ten Honest Things About Me:

1) I hate house spiders;
2) I love chocolate;
3) I hate the smell of smoke;
4) I love ice cream;
5) I hate liver;
6) I love coffee;
7) I hate gory shows (except for horror films - okay, I know it's contradictory)
8) I love scary shows (Stephen King is an all-time favorite writer)
9) I hate split pea soup and pumpkin pie and I don't like apple pie either;
10) I love holidays - all of them!

Most of my "things" are about food - I wonder what that says about me. Maybe I need to go on a diet - thinking about food too much ;-)

I am supposed to tag seven people. But so many people have already been tagged, um, for those of you who want to play along . . . I'll say: 1) Jean Hall, 2) David Batista, 3) Matt Holm, 4)Teacher Ninja, 5)Christina Farley - when she's back from holiday. 6) Searching for a Hero; and 7) Cindy Pon - when she's back from holiday

Great list, Kim! We share a lot of the same loves & hates, except for #9. I love split pea soup and pumpkin pie! Funny though, I'm not crazy about apple pie either.

Rena: My mom used to make thick gooey split pea soup - it looked ugly and I thought it tasted even worse. :(

Never been much of a pie fan - don't know why.

I'm with you on 2 through 8, but please give me all your split pea soup, pumpkin, and apple pie. In return, you may have all my holidays. I think they're great too, but I'm so tired of decorating and baking for them... And I'll be happy to deal with all your spiders -- I wasn't too keen on them until I found one devouring a cockroach one day. That made me a fan for life.

Now I need to do my own Honest Scrap post -- just hope my internet connection holds out!

I'm with you on the pumpkin and apple pies -- actually any fruit pie. (I guess pumpkin is technically a vegetable, but with all that sugar it morphs into a fruit in my book!)

Hope your Christmas was a merry one!

Hmm, seems we're opposites. I hate coffee, but love liver. Oh, and I hate horror movies.

Thanks for the tag, Kim! I've got the list posted on my blog now:

This is fun to play! I think we like and dislike almost the same.

Thanks for playing David and Christina.

It seems my mind has been on food and more food all week. I've been grazing on all the holiday goodies for a week now!
