Cool Sights to See in Portland, Oregon

Here are a few sights to see, if you're in Portland, during December:

This is the Pioneer Place Christmas Tree.
Here are some cool old buildings:

A church in downtown Portland.

This building on 39th and Hawthorne has actual flames shooting up out of the sconces on either side of the front door of Arista. Creepy but cool, in a hot way.

Everything seems prettier during the holiday season.

Pretty! I like that entrance...it is a little creepy, though.

Oh, it looks great! I really want to go around taking pictures of Christmas lights this year.

Speaking of which, I really want to get to Portland sometime. That's where one of my favorite children's band is -- Captain Bogg & Salty. I think they're doing a show soon too. I'd love to see them!

Rena: If you ever make it to Portland let me know. I'll show you around. We'd have to take in a visit to Powells. One of my favorite places.
