Homemade Spaghetti

My daughter got me a pasta machine, which is something I've been wanting for a while.

So I made some dough, which was four eggs, 3 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of water.

Then I rolled out the dough.

Then I fed the dough through the machine to thin it out.

Then I fed the dough through the knives to chop it into spaghetti
It made six servings of pasta (well more like five in my family)

That is quite awesome, actually. Yum!

And, yeah, 4 servings of pasta is more like 2 where I come from. :)

Was it worth the effort? I always wondered...

I love homemade pasta. I like the idea that there are no preservatives and it's not dehydrated flour - kind of like comparing powdered milk to the real thing...at least in my opinion
