I wanted to see Contagion when it came out but never got around to going to see it. It has an all-star cast with Matt Damon, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Gweneth Paltrow and more.
It seemed like a plausible premise but the show was a little slow for me. I think it's worth watching and enjoyed the way it made me think "wash your hands," "wash your hands," "wash your hands"!
But I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater.
There was one point I thought was over-acted. It was when the doctor was talking to Matt Damon about his wife dying. I thought he suddenly flipped-out and although Matt is a wonderful actor that part stands out in my mind as Mwha...
So, have you seen it...? What did you think?

I liked it a lot. Enough to pay money to see it twice in theaters! :)
That scene you're talking about, I actually thought it was very powerful and well acted. *shrugs* To each their own, LOL!
David - I told my sons that I thought it was slow and they said well yeah, you were probably wondering where the vampires were or the zombies or ... ;) yeah, horror is more my thing. I need to be jumping in my seat for the action to be fast enough for me....you know, I grew up with the King...
Thanks for reviewing Contagion, Kim! I get bored working the late shift at DISH and last night was one of those instances. I signed on to DISHOnline.com looking for a movie and settled on Contagion. Contagion felt a like standard “epidemic movie” and did little to hold my interest. It wasn’t a horrible movie but like you I am happy I didn’t pay to see it in theaters.
