The Cat, um, Bear in the Hat . . . ?

I knitted this hat this past weekend for my girlfriend's baby - which hasn't been born yet.

I was happy with the way it turned out and can't wait to see it on Emmaleigh's head.

Have you made anything lately? Share your crafting ideas in the comments, please.

Cute hat! I got a commission to tat a doily recently. Right now I'm working on tatting an edging for a handkerchief.

really cute hat, tatting is a lost art... I'm piecing a nine patch quilt right now but starting in June I'm going to teach all four of my grandbabies to quilt... they're making a charm quilt each... picking out the material for 300 different pieces.

Bish I'd love to see some of your tatting.

Plus Stable Granny I'd love to see your patch quilt project.

What an adorable hat! I bet it will look great on your friend's baby. I hope you can post a picture of her wearing it when she's born.

The only crafts I've done lately involve paper plates and construction paper. Well, unless you count my hair, which I'm still working on. HA!

Crafting? Not me, I'm afraid. I occasionally make history with my humongous blunders, though.

Does that count?
