Word for Wednesday

WORD: Runcation

Take a guess - come on out and play with me
It is simple - simple as can be

Post your "guess" in comments please
and don't look it up - until after three(s)

(Okay bad rhyme - but fun game)

I'll have the "answer" posted here around 3:00 p.m.

Here's a hint: I should have spent some time in my garden doing this over the weekend - but I didn't :(

To analyze a word?
To go on a vacation specifically to run or jog?

It's what marathoners call their time off?

Hopping on the next thing smoking out of Dodge, to get away from some annoying responsibility?

Or is it a vacation where you go just to run a marathon?

Hmm, doesn't sound like much of a vacation, that last. :)

Weeding your garden? That's what I should've done this weekend.

my previous post was a response to your post on jenontheedge.com. The character limit of posting chopped off some info. Sorry if that was not made clear.

Taking a week off from running? That's how *I* think of it anyway because no way would running be a vacation to me!

Ah, that might be it! Why didn't I think of that?

In that case, I've been on a runcation for the past two weeks! :) I just ended it yesterday by running 8.4k on my treadmill, much to the chagrin of the achille's tendon on my left leg.
