This is a tradition we've done at Christmas for decades. Lars used to make these Danish Christmas Stars out of paper when he was a kid back in Denmark. Today, it is fun to make them out of fancy metallic ribbons but sometimes we still make them out of paper.
If you're curious to see how we make these fun stars to hang on our tree and to decorate Christmas packages, then click on the link and watch the short video below. And, if you do make some of these Danish Christmas Stars, please let me know in the comments below. I'd love to hear what you think of this project and the product you come up with.
Looking for a way to get to sleep tonight? Check out this 1-hour hair-washing video with the soft-spoken conversation and warm soothing blow-drying of hair, you just might unwind enough to fall asleep.
I love to craft and I'm just learning to sketch and paint. Plus, I love doing my ASMR videos - so I thought, why not meld them all together? This video offers the soft-soothing sounds of pencil scratching over wood as I create little woodland animals for a stool for my great-niece. My hubby made a child's table and we wanted to make some stools/chairs to go along with the gift.
Lars created them out of particle board and I am painting them with little cartoon creatures. I know they might look a little silly but I enjoy painting and sketching so this is a good way to learn as I go and create some fun things at the same time.
So, if you're having trouble getting to sleep and looking for something to help you unwind, this ASMR video just might be what you're looking for. Try it out and see if the oddly satisfying sounds help sooth your nerves and put you to sleep. And, if the sounds work for you, please let me know in the comments below.
If you're looking for something soothing to help you unwind at the end of the day, ASMR just might be the thing with the soft-spoken tones of light conversation along with the crunchy sounds of hair brushing and the sleek rhythm of a comb sliding through hair.
If you're unfamiliar with ASMR, here's what it is: usually a sound or visual stimulation that starts a tingling sensation that begins on the scalp and
moves down the back of the neck and spine to create a feeling of euphoria that helps
you relax and fall asleep.

With so many people stressed out, you might think I'm pulling out my hair but that's not the case here. I know that there are a lot of people struggling to fall asleep. So, I thought I'd do an ASMR hair brushing video with the soothing sounds of hair streaming through the bristles of my brush and floating past the tongs of my comb. Plus, who doesn't love the warm comforting sensation and sounds of blow drying on a chilly fall day? So, if you're looking for something to help you get to sleep, this ASMR video might be the trick you need to unwind and fall asleep so you can wake up refreshed to face a new day.
