Earth Friendly Friday

With planting season upon us, I'm thinking of planting foodstuffs for the future. Beans, radishes, spinach...things I can dry, can, or cook right out of the garden.

I don't use chemicals to fertilize or to kill weeds. I use my hands to pull the weeds and mushroom compost to help build strong plants.

Plus my hubby always helps me build little trellises and supports for my plants.

How bout you? Are you thinking of planting any fun edibles this spring?

That is awesome.
I have a black thumb so no one wants me planting anything. But one year my hubby planted a bunch of veggies and I loved going out to get fresh veggies for snacks and dinner!

Happy Planting :-)

Kelly: It's sow simple...at least in the Pac NW because we're in the fertile Willamette valley. I grow a lot of my own food :D

Thinking of planting some tomatoes, but they didn't do too well last year. Might just go cheap and plant some sort of flower or something.

Rena: Try again. Tomatoes off the vine are worth the effort and it might have just been one bad crop
