Another year has come and gone and it's time to assess and reassess what we've been doing with the time we have.
I've been thinking about resolutions, which are something I'm not good at making because I don't want to set myself up for failure but this year I'm thinking of GOALS not resolutions.
Here are a few of my GOALS for 2012:
1) To sign up for a class - maybe photoshop - maybe a new language...
2) To run my first marathon;
3) To be more consistent in my training for the marathon;
4) To have more patience - at things I try to do (like knitting)
5) To spend more time with friends (I usually spend most all my time with family - neglecting friends)
How 'bout you? Do you have any GOALS for 2012?

I prefer goals to resolutions, too. I'd like to try something new and just for fun...I just haven't decided what. :)
Weird. The last blog I was just on talked about the same thing. I've always considered resolutions to be goals. Guess I'm way off today, with just about everything. :(
Happy New Year, Kim!
Hey, happy new year!
And I never make goals or resolutions. I think you made a post about this last New Year's, am I right? I vaguely recall saying pretty much the same thing back then.
But here's to a fantastic 2012, Kim! I hope all your goals come to fruition, and then some!
Adrienne: If you're thinking about it, something will pop up.
Rena: I think of a resolution as more of a promise. A goal as a directed effort - at least to me.
David: You're right my goals are on the same lines, only last year I wanted to run a half-marathon and start training for the full - this year I want to run the full . . . keep your fingers X'd for me - that I make it.
All good goals you have there. Wishing you the best in reaching them. Cheers.
