Monday - Making a Rose
We all want to give gifts that last and roses are beautiful but their beauty fades fairly quick. So, why not make a rose that will last a while?
All you need to do is have a little patience and a good eye. I tried to make one but my son asked me if I had my glasses on while I was cutting my pieces - needless to say, I gave up. But here's my son making a Valentine's present.
Thanks gals. It's not hard to do, if you want to spend the time to make it look nice. It took a couple hours for Jake to cut out the pieces and then assemble them. I tried to do one but didn't want to spend the time on the intricate cutting :( Mine didn't turn out as nice as Jake's.

Oh, wow. That does look complicated, but how beautiful it turned out! How long did that take to make?!
