March is full of celebrations, events and holidays so let's get ready. Did you know it's National Women's History Month?
The Birthstone for this month is: Aquamarine, Bloodstone
The flower of March is the Jonquil
March is also National Nutrition Month, so maybe this would be a good time to start eating a little bit better.
Daylight savings time begins on March 14th (but remember) not all places in the U.S. observe daylight time. Hawaii and most of Arizona do not use it.
And March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' birthday.
We've also got St. Patrick's Day, the First Day of Spring, Palm Sunday and more.
Plus, who could forget, it's spring break in Oregon for all the school kids.
So it looks like we've got a lot to celebrate and even more to get ready because it all begins tomorrow.

I'll be curious to see what March brings us, weather-wise. Our winter has been so mild this year.
With kids in elem. school you cannot miss it being Dr. Seuss's birthday!!!
