Paulina Lake Lodge

We took a little road trip for the 4th of July weekend. We went to Lava Land in Central Oregon. While we were there we stopped at Paulina Lake Lodge and had dinner in the caldera then we went to the Obsidian Flow.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.

How'd you spend your holiday . . . ?

Neat place! You sure do work in some fascinating travel. I just have to get to your part of the country one day.

Pretty country! We went nowhere, but people came to us, so that was nice! :)

Looks life a fun trip. My husband and I went to Oregon on our honeymoon a hundred years ago. I found it beautiful.

The 4th? I made deviled eggs and a fruit salad in the morning. Went to a party where I sat on my rear end all day. So nice to have the party at someone else's house for a change. Most enjoyable day.

Lava Land sounds like a cool place (great pics!).
We are usually away this weekend, but were home this year. We spent the weekend with family and friends though.

Oh, that looks like a cool place. I'm glad you had fun.

We took a spur-of-the-moment trip to Yellowstone. It's a 6-hour drive, but we spent 2 nights and had a great time.
