THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY AND A MYSTERY

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY: If the French speak French and the Danes speak Danish, what do the people speak in the Netherlands?

Take a guess and don't forget to come back tomorrow to find out the answer.

Plus, I just thought I'd share:

I love to read—duh—so I’m in a book club at work. And this is a mystery that was recommended by Kama:

Oh, oh! Pick me! I know the answer! People from the Netherlands (which we used to know as Holland) speak...Dutch!

It has to be Dutch, right? Oooo, that does sound like a good book. Thanks for sharing. My Leaning Tower beside my bed just got higher.

My guess was Dutch too! My sister lived in Amsterdam for about nine months for business. Luckily many people speak English there as well.

I would have guessed Dutch too. Then I probably would have thought I was wrong. Good to see everyone else saying Dutch, so this doesn't keep me up tonight. ;)

You girls are just a bunch of genius gals.

I'll have a more difficult thought next week.

I'm late to answering but I would have to say Dutch only because I've had Dutch students in the past.
