Well, I can honestly say hubby and I do all these things. The only time I don't line dry is when it's wet and cold. Plus we recycle just about everything. The two of us produce about one bag of garbage every two weeks.

We try Bish but we are definitely not that good at it. We have two bags of recycling in the kitchen and a garbage can but with 4 to 5 people in the house - we could do better. But at least we're trying...

Yikes! Did you read where it says that over 3 billion books are sold per year in the U.S? Then it recommends sharing books and borrowing from the library? Oh dear.

Isn't that amazing. We're so used to just doing what we please without any thought of the impact--just our convenience, thank you very much. Yet when you change a few habits at a time, you barely notice the difference.
