Decorating the Yard for the Holidays

I love to decorate. But I'm also cheap, um, I mean frugal. Yeah, that's a better word. I hate to spend money on Needful Things ;) So usually I just hunt around the house or the yard for what I need.

I take old Christmas decorations and pine cones, chunks of wood, whatever and use it/them out in the yard, like this:

Yep that's a golf ball I've spray painted gold

Then I simply stick the "decorations" around the yard in my pots, planters and raised beds. What an easy way to decorate and so cheap, I mean inexpensive.
