Arizona Dinner

A gfriend sent me these photos and info. This is how I feel after dinner.

These pictures were taken by one of the road crews at Cloudbreak, Arizona last week.

It took a total of 5 hours for the Snake to finish off the Goanna(Sand Monitor).

As you can see, they put some signage up so it couldn't be run over.

I can't help but feel sorry for the sand monitor.

Well it was dead before it started eating it or at least not feeling anything the snake either breaks the preys back or smothers it or injects poison that makes it where it can't move. I think this snake was non poisonous so I would say one of the others.
These were cool pictures.

Whoa! I'm glad I don't have to work that hard for my food. Eating like that would tend to cut down on mealtime conversation. :)

Reminds me of a saying my dad had: "I don't like to fight with my food" (when faced with such things as eating grapefruit out of the shell). As for me, I'll never again complain about the time it takes to cook a meal. :)

Oh wow. Yes, it would be a bad way to go...digested alive!

It is so much easier to pull the foil top off my yogurt! Poor snake probably already worked off the calories and is hungry again!
