We all want to give gifts that last and roses are beautiful but their beauty fades fairly quick. So, why not make a rose that will last a while?
All you need to do is have a little patience and a good eye. I tried to make one but my son asked me if I had my glasses on while I was cutting my pieces - needless to say, I gave up. But here's my son making a Valentine's present.

Very nice!
Oh, wow. That does look complicated, but how beautiful it turned out! How long did that take to make?!
Your family bursts with talent and creativity!
Whew! That is something!
Wow! That is great and people love roses...How hard is this to do?
How lovely! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks gals. It's not hard to do, if you want to spend the time to make it look nice. It took a couple hours for Jake to cut out the pieces and then assemble them. I tried to do one but didn't want to spend the time on the intricate cutting :( Mine didn't turn out as nice as Jake's.
Impressive!
Oh, my gosh--that's beautiful. It looks so real. Kelly's right--you are all so creative!
