THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY AND A MYSTERY

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY: If the French speak French and the Danes speak Danish, what do the people speak in the Netherlands?

Oh, oh! Pick me! I know the answer! People from the Netherlands (which we used to know as Holland) speak...Dutch!

My guess was Dutch too! My sister lived in Amsterdam for about nine months for business. Luckily many people speak English there as well.

I would have guessed Dutch too. Then I probably would have thought I was wrong. Good to see everyone else saying Dutch, so this doesn't keep me up tonight. ;)

I'm late to answering but I would have to say Dutch only because I've had Dutch students in the past.
