Thought for The Day

I was watching a show and a customer ordered a "dirty" martini. I had no idea what made the martini "dirty" so I googled it to find out.

Do you know what a dirty martini is?

Well, it's a drink that has a splash of olive juice. So it's supposed to be quite tasty and that's what makes a drink "dirty".

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

Here's a question for all you math-minded folks out there.Question:

At what point does fahrenheit equal celsius?

Take a guess....

Now scroll down for the answer

Further

And further

Answer: -40 degrees.

You have to know the formula to figure out how to convert celsius to fahrenheit. Most of us haven't done algebra for a while but it's: Fahrenheit = Celsius X 9/5 + 32.

Or t(F) = t(C)x 9/5 +32

t-9t/5 = 32
-4t/5 = 32
t= -40 (so that's the temperature where t(F) = t(C)x 9/5 + 32

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

So I'm working on a new project, while revising another manuscript, and researching another one - all at the same time.

Maybe I'm a little ADD - what do you say - any other writers out there that do this too?

I can be reading four books, at the same time. I'll have them spread out in front of me. Read a little of one, pick up another for a bit and move on to the next one, all in the same night.

It's odd because I lose interest if I don't have a lot of variety - yet I've been married for over 27 years.

Like Arte Johnson used to say, "Very Interesting...."

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

Okay, I've been accused of spoiling my children - no surprise there. But when I came across these little accessories I thought I don't want to hear how I spoil my kids. There are people out there that spoil their pets more than I've ever spoiled anyone.

What am I talking about?

Doggles.

Yes designer eye wear for dogs. Now I've heard of everything.
