Writers out there, you should know more words than most. So here's my challenge: tell me what the word for Wednesday means - Without googling it or looking it up. Be brave fellow blogging-buddies and take a guess if you don't really know. It's more fun that way.
WORD FOR WEDNESDAY: SMARMY
Check back around 3:00 p.m. and you'll see the answer.

Sarcastic and flattering--I'm guessing.
Do you ever see the show "Between the Lions" on PBS Kids? They have a character who talks about "Smarmy Marmy". Anyway...
It SOUNDS like it means icky in an overly sweet, kissing the rump kind of way. (I'm thinking of Sarah Palin's winks to the crowd when I see this word)
Just a guess: acting like a smart-alec (i probably spelt that wrong, lol). I'm not sure I ever saw it written, but hopefully you know what I mean.
I, too, immediately thought of Smarmy Marmy. (Between the Lions is extremely cool.)
So, perhaps smarmy means over the top, exaggerated?
reminds me of some greasy guy trying to flatter or persuade a person in a creepy way
I don't know Smarmy Marmy and never watched Between the Lions. I am SO out of it.
You gals are way ahead of me.
Thanks for playing.
