I love
Cupcake Wars maybe because I love sugary treats so much. At least that's one of the reasons why I'm making my own cupcakes and challenging myself -- I want to be bake and make them better.
This edible glitter is such a treat. It's so pretty and of course it's tasty too. Of course these little devilish morsels aren't so good for my diet because I'm weak when it comes to holidays and homey food. I'm just going to have a run a little bit more or maybe a lot more.
These ones were banana cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and I used some sugar sheets and fondant to make my decorations...well, that and the edible glitter.

My wife and I love cupcakes! Unfortunately, here in NYC there are so many different boutique stores that specialize in them. Needless to say, it's a hazardous environment for those watching their waistlines. :)
Although, recently the scene here has started to shift toward macarons -- those colorful little cream-in-the-middle French cookies. They're all the rage now in the city. In fact, I'm about to pick some up after work today for my sweetie. Yum!
Nothing like having fun baking. That's the good stuff. In fact, just now, I finished DR-5 of my take on an apple pizza. The pie is cooling.
On my camera I have a little flower button. When I click it, the camera focuses nice and close-ups don't show the blur. Don't know if that's rude to say, but I'm not meaning to be rude.
With that, have a spooktacular day and an oogie boogie night.
I don't know if I could handle edible glitter--the idea of it freaks me out!
David: Macaroons - yummmmmmmmmmmmmm
The Happy Whisk: That's not rude - it's helpful. I didn't even think about it. Must have been in a sugar coma...seriously. I do have the flower button too - just forgot - so thanks for the reminder. :)
GG: Edible glitter is so much fun.
So so glad you didn't think me rude. I'd not want to be that.
Cheers and have a spooky day.
