The boys wanted to raise the roof - literally so they started ripping the old one down and Lars nearly lost his head over the project ;)
This is going to be a big project and it's going to take a couple weeks - at least - I know, I'm being hopeful. So, I'm sure you'll be seeing some blogs, photos and videos about this project. I hope you enjoy watching the boys work together.
Luke told me to go away or come and help - so I went away ;)
Then I came back to take a quick picture...the camera was on moviemaker setting - so it wasn't so quick as my husband stood and waited for me to snap the photo (he's such a good sport) - this project could take quite a while at this rate.

Good luck! I envy those who can make renovations themselves. I'll be forever doomed to hire people to do this . . . if the day comes when I ever own a house.
Can't way to see the new look!
I love how he "lost his head" on that renovation project!
Oh my, that's a MAJOR project. I hope it goes quickly so that you're not living with chaos for too long.
Thanks everyone. I'm hoping they'll be done before the holidays. Oh wait, the holidays begin next Monday...could it be possible...?
They'd better hurry it up ;)
That's awesome that they are so handy!
(and I would have left too!! :)
Very cool. Though at first glance, I thought that was a fake person with his head chopped off.
I'm in the Halloween zone.
Boogie boogie.
Hey Spooky: I'll have to tell him you thought he was a fake person - he's always so concerned with being "real" - at least I'm getting a kick out of the thought ;)
Hoping you have a spooktacular week :)
Wow. They are ambitious! I hope the renovations keep going well!
