My sister and I went to the
Sylvia Beach Hotel - a hotel for writers and readers. Every room has a
writer's theme.
I asked my sis if she wanted to stay in the
J. K. Rowling room.
No.
I asked my sis if she wanted to stay in the
Jane Austen room.
No.
I asked my sis about the
Shakespeare room.
Not a chance.
She said we HAD to stay in the
Dr. Seuss room because it suits our reading level.
And one of the really cool things is the real fish swimming in the toilet bowl tank - I know, weird, but cool too.
Well then I had to make us a couple of shirts to wear on our weekend.

It's been too long since I've read Dr. Seuss, so I don't remember these two. As you can tell, I don't have kids. :)
But you two look great! What a hoot!
Love it!!!!
You two (and the room) look awesome!
What fun! You look great together.

NEXT card, Jayne Mansfield????
Oh wow, how awesome is that! I was wondering what you meant by your "room" when you posted it on FB!
Thanks everyone! We had a wonderful time and overate the entire weekend. We ran but not enough to make up for all those calories.
If you're ever in Oregon this is the place to go. And thanks to Chris - we had a blast dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2.
David: You have to read The Places You'll Go - I always give it to every graduate (with some money so they don't resent the gift;) but Thing 1 and Thing 2 are from The Cat in the Hat - that's fun too. It's never to late to be a kid :) or to read like one ;)
