We watched a couple of movies this week. The King's Speech was one of them. My husband loved the movie but, for me, it was a little slow. There were moments I enjoyed but overall it wasn't my type of sit-down and spend an evening doing (or watching) something, when I could have been doing something else.
However, my husband loved it. Thought he could watch it again. I wouldn't.
I did think the acting was done well though, which explains why it was nominated for a Golden Globe award.
Colin Firth won Best Actor for
his performance. So, maybe I'm a bad judge of Movies. Let me know your opinion. If you've watched it, let me know what you think.

My mom and I were just discussing this movie yesterday wondering if it was on DVD yet.
It doesn't seem like the usual type of movie I go to, but am interested in seeing Colin Firth's Oscar winning performance in it.
I thought it was one of the best movies I saw last year. And I think it well deserved the awards and nominations. It should have won a few more, in fact.
I've heard good things about the movie. My hubby really wants to see it. For me, I need to be in the right mood to watch and enjoy a slower moving movie. I can enjoy them, I just have to be mentally in the mood for it.
I still haven't seen it, but probably will when it comes out on Netflix or DVD.
I`ve seen it for 3 times already, i love it. The King`s Speech deserve his prize. I recommend this movie for everyone.
