Time is Short - Tell Someone You Love Them

With my birthday just around the corner, I’m reflecting. Mom had nine kids: Doug, Brook, Steve, Frances, Jeff, Todd, Toni, Kim, Tammy. Today there are only five of us left:

Doug, Steve, Brook, me and Tammy

We need to remember time is short. Tell someone you love them – today.

This is an old photo we had made for Mom, when we could all get together.

Ah! What a happy picture, and that there are only five of you left - so sad.

Thanks Catherine. Sometimes remembering is hard. But this was a good day.

what a wonderful foto. i truly wish life weren't so short. it seems unfair sometimes. but it reminds us to live to the fullest--yes.

Cindy: It's so true. I love the quote: "Life isn't measured in how many breaths we take, but how many moments take our breath away."

Kim, I love the photo of you and some of your siblings. Nine kids in all. Your mum must have been really busy. It's sad that they're not all there any more.

I looked at some of the other posts and discovered that you have a Danish Lars while I have a Swedish Lars. :-)

Thanks for posting on my site.

Wonderful family picture.
You certainly give us something to think about, Kim!

I thought with a name like Lena, you'd have to have some Scandinavian blood in you. I've been to Sweden many times. Beautiful people and very friendly.

What a great picture! My grandma use to say: "Memories are like family...they always show up when you most need them."
