Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows: I had high hopes for the replaying of my youth especially since it had Johnny Depp and Michelle Phiffer with Tim Burton too. Unfortunately, I was let down. It wasn't scarey... at all. I was only hoping for a little bit of scariness but I didn't even get that. It was fun hearing the names from my past: Barnabus Collins, Angelic, Dr. Julia Hoffman, those were fun to hear :)

And we all had a nice dinner. Mother's Day 2012 - it was a fun feasting day.

In 1990-91, there was a short-lived revival of Dark Shadows, which was the version I was familiar with. I'm not at all interested in revisiting it, so won't be seeing the movies. Based on the previews, it's not at all like the original series or later reboot.

I've never watched the original, so there's no basis for me to be disappointed. I might just catch this later in the week. Looking at the trailers, I'm expecting more comedy than horror. Which is more than fine by me.

Plus, I *luv* Eva Green! She's purdy. :)

Jen my memories are from the 1966-71 series.

David: It only had a few moments of "funny" most of it was blah...but let me know what you think - if you see it.
