Laurelhurst Park in Portland Oregon

There are so many parks in Portland - it's unbelievable. Within walking distance of my home is Mt. Tabor Park, Laurelhurst Park, Normandale Park and probably a few others.

Last Saturday was such a beautiful day we decided to take the dogs to the park to play.

Here are a few photos from our walk.

Oh, what pretty pictures, Kim! That's beautiful with all the colors. We haven't gotten any snow here yet, but most of our trees have lost all their leaves, even the Western Larches with their yellow pine needles. Thanks for sharing!

Rena: You're going to have to post some snow photos - we don't get much of that around the Willamette Valley.

Thanks for posting your pics, Kim! Laurelhurst is one of my favorite parks in Portland. I've never taken any good photos there -- I'll have to link to your post. It's just what I think a city park should be. I love the lamp posts and the pond. So perfect.

Great colors--I'd walk there every day if I lived nearer.

Oh, and I forgot Montavilla Park. That's within walking distance too. We are sooo spoiled here in Portland.

Wow, how beautiful! All of our leaves are gone - we've had a lot of wind.
