And, I'm not taking about shooting decoys. Nope, I'm talking about crafting. We writers craft with words but some people use other mediums, like clay.
Don't you just love to roll words around in your mouth and then put pen to paper and create. Well, you might want to take out some dough and/or clay and cut it and mold it. Shaping a little blob into something is so much fun. If you haven't done it for a while, pull out a package and play.
It's good for the creative juices.
My daughter has made about ten little birds,
Penguins. Here's a couple that might help inspire us writers in more ways than one.

These are sooo cute! You have one talented daughter...my clay NEVER turns out like that, writing or otherwise!
I've never had any clay skills, but I admire those who do.
I think it's best for all those around me that I restrain myself to only the written medium. I almost blew up the kiln in ceramics class back in high school.
Let's just say clay and me haven't been on speaking terms ever since. I think there's even an order of protection out with my name on it, too.
Kristi: With all the talk about dead birds falling out of the skies - I thought it was a nice positive change to look as some cute little penguins :)
GG: You just have to spend a little time - but I know minutes are like money for Moms ;)
David: Maybe it's time for another try at the pottery wheel ;)
