"Monday Monday"
Mondays are never easy. I thought they were only supposed to be hard when I was young. NOT.
It's never easy to get up out of a warm cozy bed and get going.
Have you found any tricks to make Mondays easy-er?

It's funny, I asked myself that same question before visiting your blog. :)
The answer varies every week. This week I'm going for a cup of green tea to start the day.
Pretend it's Saturday!
Not really, I just go with it! (and my pup got me up a half hour before the alarm so I couldn't really go back to sleep. I hate when that happens!)
Have a great week, Kim!
Since I work only part-time, I've adjusted my schedule so that I don't go into my office on Mondays. Instead, I focus on getting my children up and to school, then I go to the grocery store. After that, I come home and check my work emails. At some point -- usually late in the morning -- I go for a walk to clear my head and organize my thoughts.
My answer to everything hard is always the same: COFFEE! It's my easy fix for all...never ceases to make me smile.
BUT I totally feel the Monday blues...so you're not alone. Time for another cup of coffee!
Never schedule anything extra on a Monday before 3:00 p.m. Still hard to roll in to the week, but it helps.
There are only two ways to make Monday easier. One is to retire. The other is to get a job with a non-traditional schedule, so you can transfer the Monday angst to another day.
I suppose there is a third way. Work every day, then you don't have the time off to compare it to. It's not the Monday itself that's so bad, it's the transition between "me" time and "them" time.
Funny thing--3 boys leaving for school on Mondays (although 1 leaves at noon) sure takes the bite out of the day for me!
