Movie Review Monday-THE UGLY TRUTH

Went and saw The Ugly Truth this weekend - it really wasn't so "Ugly".

Check it out here.

Definitely not for little kids but "HE"larious. I've loved Gerard Butler since The Phantom, so maybe I'm a wee-bit biased-NOT.

Of course I think he's an amazingly talented singer, devilishly handsome and an awesome actor . . . well, okay, maybe I am a tiny tad biased but all you gals looking for a little fun, a few laughs and a good look at a hottie from Scotland, you might want to learn a little more about The Ugly Truth. Go see it - just don't take the kids.

Oh yeah, and Katherine Heigl wasn't bad either.

I'm not a gal, but can I still be interested in this? :)

We're planning on seeing this sometime during the week, so thanks for the endorsement.

It was fun - my husband and my sister, my niece and I went.

Predictable - but I'm not complaining.

I laughed, I loved watching Gerard and even Eric Winter was worth a turn of the head - heck more than a turn - more like a complete nod, and we all went home happy.

You can't beat that for a $6.00 matinee.

Oh yeah, David, my husband enjoyed it.

It's definitely a chick flick with a lot of eye candy, no-it's more like eye-jewelry: all sparkly and attention grabbing with Gerard and Eric to look at, but also some laughs in store for the guys willing to go - and, like I said, Katherine Heigl isn't bad either. :)

I not really that into KH. Something's always seems off about that one, even way back when I first noticed her in that tv show, Roswell.

But I actually do enjoy comedies, even romantic ones. So I was looking forward to this, especially since the writing looked witty from what I could tell from the trailer.

Hm, I wasn't sure from the previews if there was enough story to give this film substance. I'll bear your review in mind!
