I'm surprised that Paris and Sydney are not on that list, because they both made New York and London seem reasonable by comparison.
I'm surprised about Sydney too. I've been to Tokyo and found it better value than if I jump on a train and head to Sydney.
I've never been to Sydney so I can't say anything about that. But Paris was crazy expensive too...yeah, that one should have made the list. Hummmm...but I'm not surprised at all to see Scandinavia on the list.
