FLIGHT FAIL . . . Flying Over A Volcano - Mt. St. Helens



My husband went for a flight over the crater of Mt. St. Helens but the mission was aborted short of the goal due to mechanical failure. video

Good thing he made it home in one piece.

Glad he made it back down safely!
I've been in a helicopter once in Alaska. I have to say I was pretty nervous (though the view was gorgeous!)

Yikes! I'm glad to hear they landed safely. I've only been in a copter once -- from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Rick used to fly all the time as part of the air unit with the sheriff's department. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I hope your husband can go again sometime.
