Role Model - I Hope Not

So many girls look up to models, dreaming of following in their footsteps - well this is one time they might think twice before wanting to follow these footsteps.

I wonder what Tyra would say . . .

Fashion struts the catwalks masquerading as clothes we'll wear and laughs all the way to the bank.

I'm laughing with the men! But I do feel bad for the poor model who had to try to walk in those shoes.

I've seen this before. What's the most funny is how the anchor laughs hysterically because he just can't stop. Poor girl. LOL!

I usually don't find it funny whenever I see someone fall (I always feel so bad for them) . . . but the news anchors laughing makes it far worse, and then I can't help myself. :)

Very few models admit how difficult their jobs really are...and often fail to include the many hours (unpaid) looking for work between jobs.

The model's job is really to be invisible and make everyone else (designer, stylist, make-up, etc...)look good.

It looked like the shoes were ill fitting.

And it is possible that the first fall may have caused injury making it really hard to walk afterwards. The second fall looked especially painful involving both feet.

I agree...the laughter rubbed me the wrong way.

All I could think was "Ouch!"

At first I thought, how terrible of them making fun of her. But then I watched it and couldn't help but laugh....
Those shoes do look hard to walk in!

GG: That was my point. Girls look up to these models and they portray unrealistic goals. No one could walk in those.

Come on. Beauty isn't in what you wear. If it is, I'm a serious loser 'cause I couldn't care much less about my clothing and it shows ;)
