I thought I knew this one, but what I thought it was had nothing to do with children...so I will keep that thought to myself and say, "I agree with everyone else"...grin...
ditto to the consensus, but i feel it's always used dramatically...it's never like, "Hey dude, come meet my progeny - here's Kim, and..." it's always used in this uber dramatic "fruit of my loins" kind of way
My daughter says it's "like a follower of God, or something like that... isn't it?" I am glad that you came to visit. And I really like your hair now. Rhonda

Progeny are children. Specifically the children of the person being talked about.
What Captain Hook said.
Yes, I agree with the others, one's off-spring.
Here I am again, slapping my forehead and saying, "Duh!" I'll go with what everyone else says. ;)
I agree--has something to do with children, I think.
Thanks for playing with me girls. It's been a rough time for me - so it helps to have playpals out in cyberspace.

I thought it was children, too - but I hate to admit I wasn't entirely sure.
Kim, hope things are going better...
I did not know, but I'll follow the crowd and say children!
