Oh, I think I know! Dank, a wonderful word, love how it sound like it's meaning, like lurk.

Dank = damp or moist and not in a nice way either.

As in, The basement was a scary dank, dark place, smelling of mold and unpleasant rotting things.

I think dank can also mean awesome. It is a less-used, more on the fringe, definition.
