ANSWER to Thought for Thursday - and EARTH FRIENDLY FRIDAY

ANSWER TO THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY: CLARENCE ODDBODY was George's Guardian angel AS2 (Angel Second Class) in It's a Wonderful Life

AND NOW FOR EARTH-FRIENDLY FRIDAY:

I always feel a little sad when Christmas is over and I have to take down the decorations. Here's one way to turn that blue feeling to green, with a little help from Earth 911 and Lori Brown. It can be easy to treecycle. And, real v. fake can be a good thing.

I love to garden. So, making mulch is one easy way to go green. But you can look up recycling centers in your area that will do the job for you.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Ah--that Clarence with the big nose and taste for rum punch;)

Here we have curbside pick up for Christmas trees in the winter--and free mulch at the recycling center in the spring. I usually put ours near a back birdfeeder to add a little extra cover until spring time.

Kim,

You were recently referred to my blog by fellow blogger, Jean Matthew Hall. I appreciate you stopping by. You suggested I take a gander at blog, so here I am. As I was perusing your posts, I noticed a hauntingly (adverb-oops!) familiar photo of your son tubing. I say "familiar" because I have a nearly identical photo of my own crazy boy doing the same! I'll have to send it to you so you can have a good laugh too.

Happy writing. Keep up the good work!

GG: I like the idea of using the CT for extra cover - we decorate outside trees with popcorn and cranberries for the birds too.

Niki: All of us love to tube and wakeboard - it would be fun to see the photo. Right now it's more like time for snowboarding though ;0
