Have you ever wanted to try false eyelashes but been afraid of the glue around your eyes? Well, Lux Magnetic Lashes are super simple and easy to use, plus they are reusable. Makeup Tutorial & Review for Mature Women

I don't usually wear a lot of makeup. Everyone who knows me, knows I'm more of a sporty gal than anything else. Makeup has never been a big factor in my life. Instead, I usually just wear a tinted moisturizer, if I wear any makeup - and that's usually for the SPF value. But, I do like to play with makeup. Guess I just never grew up.

So, when Miccilo offered a product for me to try, I thought "why not?" And, here's my honest thoughts and a full video on how I use makeup and me and my sister comparing Miccilo's full-coverage makeup to Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer.

Plus, I add eyebrow pencil - because my eyebrows are very blonde. And of course I put on some lipstick, that's one thing I love-especially for the moisturizing. For mature skin, we always need to think about moisturizing and sun protection.

Or, if you prefer, how about a witch broom, or a kitchen sweeper?

Plus, I found some wonderful hand-made, sustainable, fingerless gloves made from old sweaters that were just beautiful.

You can purchase food and drinks, on-site. Plus, there are activities for the kids, like a giant slide and rubber duck races. 

But, if you're looking for quiet beauty and, you simply prefer a quiet walk through the fields, that's always an option. Plus, there are benches placed around the site, so if you get a little tired, you can always pause and sit for a spell. And, it is the perfect opportunity to take a photo or two.

We bought a cup of coffee and sat quietly for a few minutes to take in all the beauty surrounding us.

These blooms are called "First Love" and perhaps they can encourage us to find that one true love or maybe renew an old one. 

But, you'll want to hurry because the festival ends on May 7th.

Gnome Place Like Home video

I wanted to make some Gnome-made decorations for St. Patrick's Day and I had a stack of leftover bricks from a finished home project that I wanted to get rid of, so I started painting some little St. Paddy's Day Gnomes on the bricks. This is just one of the bricks I painted. I'll try to post some of the other gnome-decorations I've been working on because it was a total snow day here and I needed something to do inside.

Vlogmas Day 10 - Danish Christmas Stars

 

This is a tradition we've done at Christmas for decades. Lars used to make these Danish Christmas Stars out of paper when he was a kid back in Denmark. Today, it is fun to make them out of fancy metallic ribbons but sometimes we still make them out of paper.
